Who we are
Buyble (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website buyble.co.uk. We are a UK-based price comparison service for consumer electronics. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our site, why we collect it, and your rights in relation to it under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Data we collect
We collect limited data in order to operate the site and improve your experience:
- Usage data. Pages visited, links clicked, time on site, and referring URL. This is collected in aggregate and is not linked to an identifiable individual.
- Device & browser data. IP address, browser type, operating system, and screen resolution — collected automatically by our hosting and analytics providers.
- Affiliate click data. When you click a retailer link, our affiliate partners record that click in order to attribute any resulting commission. See the section below for details.
- Contact data. If you email us, we retain your email address and the content of your message solely to respond to your enquiry.
We do not require you to create an account and do not collect names, postal addresses, or payment information.
Affiliate programmes
Buyble participates in affiliate programmes. When you click a retailer link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never influences the prices we show or how we rank retailers.
Awin
We are a publisher in the Awin affiliate network. When you click through to a participating retailer, Awin places a cookie on your device to track whether a purchase occurs. Awin acts as a data processor on our behalf. You can read Awin's privacy policy at awin.com/gb/privacy.
Amazon Associates
We are a participant in the Amazon Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.co.uk. Your rights under UK GDPR

- Right of access. Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

- Right to data portability. Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to object. Object to our processing of your data where we rely on legitimate interests as our lawful basis.
